About Esther
Esther is an award winning film and television IATSE Local 798 member makeup artist who specializes in special effects makeup, character design and beauty. She has over a decade of experience in design, but truly brings her skills to life through makeup artistry. Esther has applied makeup for many different types of films, photoshoots, red carpet events and is familiar with natural/glam beauty, HD camera shoots, special effects to extreme character makeup. She is passionate about bringing out the best in each of the actresses and actors she works with.
Prior to working in film, Esther was a top jewelry designer at Haskell Jewels. She was trusted with one of their most exclusive projects where she designed a full line of jewelry for Steve Madden. Esther was also on the core team for Betsy Johnson.
Esther studied special effects makeup and other styling and beautification methods at MUD (Make-up Designory of New York). She graduated Fashion Institute of Technology with an A.A.S. in Jewelry Design.
Esther is dedicated to her craft and is always finding ways to innovate, using cutting edge techniques to create powerful new looks. As Esther rises in her profession, she continuously seeks out ways to help others and hopes to be an inspiration to aspiring makeup artists one day.
