• Don't take aspirin, alcohol, caffeine or any blood thinners one day before the procedure!
• Do not receive Botox or fillers near the area for at least 2 weeks before your appointment.
• For lips only*: Scrub your lips for couple days before the procedure and keep applying ointment (Aquaphor).
• Avoid tanning, sunburn, or excessive sun exposure before your appointment.
• Avoid retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating products near the treatment area for 5–7 days before your appointment.
• Avoid waxing, threading, tinting, or chemical peels near the area for 1 week before your appointment.
• Arrive with the area clean and free of makeup if possible.
• Have you ever had a cold sore? If YES, Ask your physician to prescribe Valtrex (Valaciclovir) 3 days before and 3 days after the procedure. This procedure can trigger an outbreak that will affect the result.
